THINGS TO SEE AND DO

St. Lucia offers a remarkable range of leisure options - diving, snorkelling, yachting, deep-sea fishing, golf, scenic forest trails and horse riding, or for a change of pace, there's shopping in colourful markets and funky boutiques, and great restaurants serving spicy Creole and Caribbean cuisine.

Sight Seeing

Island tours include the Sulphur Springs, Rainforest, Botanical Gardens or Diamond Water Falls.

Piton Climbing

Gros Piton (the larger of the two pitons) is a four mile round trip, with the two mile climb to the summit ascending some 1,900ft.

Pigeon Island National Park

Admire sweeping views of the coast and Martinique from this park, complete with fortress, barracks and lofty trees.

Zip Wire

A thrilling course through the forest canopy, 30-50ft above the ground (children must be eight or over).

Scuba Diving

St. Lucia's warm, clear waters, spectacular reefs and marine life are a magnet for beginners and expert divers alike.

Golf

The St Lucia Golf & Country Club is situated in the exclusive Cap Estate. An 18-hole championship course with sea views, it has been recently improved and is now under Troon Golf Management. The club has an excellent restaurant and is a challenge for accomplished players.

Plans are underway for a further Jack Nicklaus course in the north east of the island, with Atlantic views. Work has started on a Greg Norman course on the east coast, which is scheduled to be completed within 18 months.

Anse-la-Raye Fish Fry

A popular Friday night destination for locals and visitors alike, this traditional village fish fry showcases the local fishermen’s skills and catch.
